Here at Hairy Hounds, we are committed to the environment after all without it we cannot live! So preserving our planet & environment is important to us, which is why we have taken a number of different measures to make our salon eco friendly!
Bathing & Grooming With A Difference!
In all our Bathing & Grooming packages we use Wildwash products. Wildwish products use one hundred percent recycled plastic (PCR) in their bottles, and spray pumps! Along with being ecofriendly Wildwash products are lovingly hand-blended using diverse and holistic mixtures of plants, botanicals, and essential oils which creates a natural product that’s kind to skin and hair- now that’s what you call pawfection!
From Fur To Flowers!
All dog hair from the hairy hounds grooming parlour is composted, along with our horse manure. Once this mixture has become rotted enough I then make all of my hanging baskets from it (you may notice them hanging around the grounds!) Meaning not only do our plants always look incredibly vibrant, and healthy, but it also saves on waste!
