Canine enrichment is such an important part of your dog’s wellbeing, and by letting them run, play, smell, and chew, it enables your dog to do all of the things that they were bred to do. After spending many years enjoying training and studying canine behaviour, I have worked with lots of different dogs and trained in a combination of sports.
Here at Hairy Hounds, I have a canine enrichment area where I offer scent work training for fun along with a combination of jumps, tunnels, and straw bales giving your dog a mind and body workout, which in turn leads to an incredibly well-balanced dog. We also offer puppy enrichment evenings.

Dog Walking Services
At hairy hounds, we enjoy all the Essex countryside has to offer. We have a wide variety of different walks all of which allow lots of off-lead time along with physical and mental stimulation for your dog.
Solo Dog Walking Package
This is a 1/2 hour dog walking package that is a sole dog walk. This is a fantastic package for if your dog is not happy about being in the company of other dogs. Or if you’re looking for more of a 121 walk.

Group Dog Walking Package
This is a 1 hour dog walking package that is a group dog walk. This package is perfect if your dog loves to socialise! They will get the chance to interact with other hounds.

Dog Days Out
At hairy hounds, we offer lots of different dog days out! Your hound will be collected from 8am (or at time suitable for you) and returned home by 4pm. Please check our daily activity rota below for the different fun days.
